Sorah
Yang
Sorah started dancing
when she was 14 years old. Shortly after beginning, she auditioned
for competitive hip-hop and jazz teams at Mission Dance & Performing
Arts. During her senior year of high school she met Mappy, director
of Soulidified Project, and began training with reDEFINE dance company.
After going off to college, Sorah has been exploring different on-campus
dance teams at the University of Southern California. She has trained
with USC's competitive hip-hop team Chaotic 3, Xpressions Contemporary
Dance Company, and a b-boy crew Vanguards. She teaches several workshops
on campus as well as around the Bay Area. In addition to dancing,
Sorah has an equally strong passion for singing and performing.
She is currently a student at the Marshall School of Business at
USC and is planning to double minor in Performing Arts and Advertising.
We are delighted to have Sorah back with us for our summer program
at Mission Dance as a hip hop and Dance camp instructor !
